News from Cullompton Farmers’ Market

Visitors to the Cullompton Food Festival on the 8th October will notice some changes to the Farmers’ Market – not only have they refreshed their logo, but they have some colourful gazebos to match!

Passers by the Bull Ring, where the lovely trees lining the road camouflaged the green gazebos of the Market, will now see the glimpse of purple and orange through the canopy of leaves. These new gazebos will brighten the traders (now seen happily glowing inside their tents!) and improve the customer experience by providing more space under cover and a warmer welcome, also giving more flexibility through the winter months for a ‘walk through’ system so customers and traders keep warm and dry.

With the help of Mid Devon Council and Cullompton Town Council the market will be providing pop up markets at local events and producing a food map of local producers. Find your local supplies of speciality meats, eggs, bread, drinks, cider, fudge, cakes, brownies, preserves plus entertainment and refreshments. So why not pop along to the market at the Food Festival on October 8th between 9.30am and 4pm.
